I've have put up the 5.0.1 RC version. This version includes:

    • Wordpress 2.3.2 release
    • Wysiwyg Editor update for new FCKEditor 2.5.1 release
    • Sidebar Nav widget title wouldn't stick
    • Author Image not displaying in posts
    • Search Reloaded not searching pages
    • External Links was incorrectly marking some internal pages as nofollow
    • Additional bookmarking sites in sem-bookmark-me including TwitThis (by request)
    • Removed FeedLounge and NewsBurst from subscribe-me as they are defunct now
    • Added back the Google Search widget
    • Added back trackback uri display (config under Entry: Comments widget)
    • Askimet 2.1.3 plugin

I want to get the official version out the door shortly due to the Wordpress security release and same user needs for the fixes. Members can grab the RC at Semiologic Pro Bleeding Version Download.

Preferably use SemPro 5.0's Upgrade Wizard to get the RC!

Let me know if you encounter any issues. This is my first release flying solo. :-) There are a few remaining issues that will need to wait until after this release including no Related Posts in Feed functionality and Steve's Video issue.

    @Mike
It appears that search is no longer automatically deleted from the navbar when a search widget is placed in the sidebar. I noticed this in 5.0 and now in 5.0.1 which I just uploaded.

BTW, the wizard worked flawlessly. Congrats on your first "solo" release.

    Larrry,

It isn't performed automatically any more. You go to Header: Nav_Menu and uncheck Search Search Form.

    Hi Mike,
While attempting to use the upgrade feature, I get this comment:
"Failed to download Semiologic Pro. Please check your API key."
Not sure what to do with that.
Also, I have an email in to you at support, because I can't log in to the members area.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    @Matt

You should have received an email from support@semiologic.com on or about December 06, announcing the opening of the member area. That email had a link similar to below, but included your API number.

If you know your API, you can get to the member area by going to http://members.semiologic.com?user_key=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Substitute yor API key for the xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

If your membership has expired, you will be required to renew before downloading SemPro 5.0

Just successfully upgraded four blogs from 5.0 to 5.0.1. It was trouble free and QUICK. Only issue is on one of the blogs, when I Write / Post, as the FCK editor loads, there is an error message regarding loading of google spell check. But spell check does load and it seems to work. Of the four, this is the only blog that was upgraded from 4.3 to 5.0 before this upgrade. David W.

    Hi Mike.

Even though you'll still look into some of the "snags" with my web site,
the upgrade wizard works just like it's name - Wizard :).

Cool and thanks for all your help on and behind the scenes =).

David. Try flushing your browser cache. That should fix it.

When using the upgrade wizard, it tells me I have chosen to open admin.php

    Doesn't work for me.

    John,

I haven't looked into these yet. These really indicate that the server is timing out running the php script.
