    I have a potentially new client who is a well know internet marketer, and I have proposed that we
    upgrade his site to Semiologic (from it's current .html design). He thinks it's a cool idea and all - but he is concerned about security issues because he has already had 2 attempted hacks on his site.

    I have not been able to give him any specific reasons why/why not SEM would be just as secure (if not MORE secure) as his current site - and I am hoping that you guys can comment on this - so I can sell him a copy of Semiologic and get on with this process.

    Well, I've had some type of attack on one of my Semiologic sites. (a virus has been injected into it) :(

    Google has flagged the site as potentially harmful and I am now getting no traffic from google.

    After several days of trying to get this resolved, my coder is recreating the site (on a mirrored site) by updating both Semiologic AND to the latest version of Wordpress.

    A word to the wise - KEEP YOUR SITES UPDATED with the latest version of Wordpress to avoid being attacked!

    What version where you running? (as a fyi Denis/semiologic got hacked running WP 2.5 hence the release of RC3 w/ 2.5.1).
