    Sorry Guys for being so unfamiliar but I've been through EVERY menu selection and read all the documentation I could find and I'm still having problems with formatting issues with 5.5 RC-3.

    My syndication is at the bottom left in it's own section under my copyright and I can't seem to change it or move it up into the sidebar where it belongs.

    I've Added 7 categories under Manage> Categories> Add New and assigned them under my parent category I added with widget categories. But none show up on the blog and under the parent in the sidebar is says "no categories". Do I have to make a post and assign a category before they will show?

    This is no longer a problem, I finally got familiar enough with 5.5 RC-3 to find most everything.

    Yes, you need a post before the category shows up in the category widget.
