    Hi:

Yesterday I upgraded to the new version of wp and semiologic pro. But after the upgrade and when attempting to write a post, I noticed that there was no wyswyg editor, so I went to the tinymce site and uploaded that folder directly to the plugins folder on my site. After activating the tinymce plugin however, the wyswyg editor still doesn't appear when writing or managing a post/page. There is a "Visual" tab and an "HTML" tab. "Visual" is the tab highlighted. But again, no wyswyg editor is available. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch.

    Hi Mike:

Thanks for your response. I did try that initially along with closing my browser. For some reason the wyswyg editor doesn't show. Strange. I did look on server and the "tinymce-advanced" folder is in the plugins folder and the plugin has been activated. I can also see "TinyMCE advanced" when the "Manage" tab is highlighted. However when I go to write a post/page, it's not showing. Do you think that during the upgrade process when using the wizard that something happened to cause a conflict with the wyswyg editor plugin? I was thinking that a wyswyg editor is included in sempro, but I had to grab the tinymce plugin directly from their site and upload it. Thanks again.

The editor that was in the 5.0 series is no longer part of 5.5

    Hi Paul:

Thanks for your response. But tinymce is the editor being used, right? I think I read that somewhere. So we simply need to upload this editor to the plugins folder ourself? No probs and I did do that. But for some reason it's not working within account. I'll try again with a fresh upload or something. Thanks again.

    Regards,

    Steve

TinyMCE advanced is a plugin that extend the TinyMCE toolbar functionality. You do not need this for 5.5. Can you try disabling this plugin and making sure Visual Editor is enabled under Users?
