    Is there a way to count how many words you have written when you are writing up a post?

    I do not know of a way to do this currently, but looks like it might be coming with WP 2.6:

    In the mean time you can use textpad to write your posts then copy and paste. Textpad has many features to work with text files, counting words and characters are just a couple of them.

    I found a plugin once that did wordcount and also reader difficulty level but it didn't work with the last version of SemPro. I'll search my hard drive to see if I can find it and maybe somebody else can make it work.
