    Currently we don't support searching the comments fields with Search Reloaded.

    This is the first time I have seen this requested that I know about. It is possible that it will make into a future release sooner than later. Depends on the demand.

    The trouble with searching within comments is that, with very rare exceptions (heavily moderated sites), comments go into off topic directions. I know I wouldn't want this on semiologic.com. :-)

    Thanks for your reply Mike and a good point Denis.

    I think it would a beneficial option for an administrator to be able to enable/disable somewhere within the Wordpress admin panel... There is a hack that someone has produced here that I'm willing to try:

    This hack would actually apply to an older version of the plugin (which returned much less relevant results).

    To be very honest, I'm a little worried at the idea of adding an extra option screen. Only the above-mentioned handful of sites would have a true use for it. Other sites who (arguably wrongly) activate it would end up with inferior results. :-|
